The Improved AFB Process

NAC-PAC® EA3 is the simple way to standardize specimen processing for AFB diagnostics. The pre-aliquoted reagents are ready-to-use in one convenient tray, and proven to have a higher Mycobacteria recovery rate than conventional preparation methodologies.

Precise pH Control
Significantly reducing breakthrough contamination rates takes a rigid control of sample pH throughout the entire process. The NAC-PAC EA3 system utilizes NAC-PAC RED and NPC-67® to provide a visual color-change indication of a neutral pH following decontamination, and PRB brings the sample to a tightly controlled pH, optimal for culturing and diagnostics.

Featuring: The NALC Tablet
Adding to NAC-PAC EA3‘s simplicity, each NALC tablet contains all of the N-acetyl-L-cysteine necessary to process an individual patient sample. This allows labs to reduce the waste of unused reagents.
