VitaPCR is an innovative rapid molecular diagnostic platform based on the well-established reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) technology which allows significantly faster testing than any other laboratory molecular method. It is also more accurate than conventional rapid testing.
VitaPCR allows the detection of infectious diseases in less than 20 minutes from sample to results, at the Point-of-Care. As a real Point-of-Care solution, VitaPCR empowers practitioners with the right information, at the right time, so they can make the right decision and provide the right course of treatment to the patients.
Combining a simplified procedure to ensure seamless integration into practitioners’ workflow, the VitaPCR has a compact and reliable design that doesn’t require extra equipment like refrigeration.
VitaPCR SARS-CoV-2 Gen 2 assay is used for the qualitative detection and discrimination of the SARS-CoV-2 viral RNA in nasopharyngeal (NP) or oropharyngeal (OP) swabs of patients with symptoms of COVID-19. The test allows the detection of SARS-CoV-2 in approximately 20 minutes.
VitaPCR Influenza / SARS-CoV-2 test is also available on the VitaPCR instrument. This rapid RT-PCR assay is used for the qualitative detection of Influenza A, Influenza B and SARS-CoV-2 viral RNA in nasopharyngeal swabs from patients with symptoms of respiratory infections. The results are available in about 20 minutes.
Both of the above kits are able to correctly identify the Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Delta, Lambda, Mu, Eta, Iota, Kappa, Zeta, Epsilon and Omicron variants.
